Jo is a Development Manager at the Australian Children’s Television Foundation. An award-winning writer, Jo has twenty years’ experience developing, writing, story and script editing film and television projects for children and adults, in live-action and animation, on projects ranging from 12 minutes to feature length. She has worked with production companies Cheeky Little Media, Every Cloud, Fremantle, Endemol Shine, Jonathan Shiff, Northern Pictures, SLR, Blue Rocket and Mungo Productions on shows such as Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Neighbours, Space Nova, Kangaroo Beach, Elephant Princess and the feature film, Lake Mungo.

A past recipient of the International Emmy’s Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Award, Jo’s debut picture book Mo and Crow made the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) Notable List in 2022.
