Adam C. Briggs is a 31-year-old writer and director based in Meanjin/Brisbane whose projects are strongly concerned with portrayals of Queensland, most of which have been captured on film formats.

His first feature film 'Paris Funeral, 1972' screened at the 10th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art at GOMA in 2021 and 2022. His second feature film ‘A Grand Mockery’ premiered last year at SXSW Sydney and won best feature film. Adam's forth feature, ‘Phillip Philadelphia’, is in post-production and he is developing other projects presently.
