Biography
Vic Zerbst is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, director and producer.
Known for her collaboration with comedy partner Jenna Owen, together they wrote, produced and starred in both the telefeature Nugget Is Dead: A Christmas Story for STAN & the US network CBS, as well as their new comedy series, Optics for the ABC and ITV in the UK.
In Nugget, Vic stars in the lead role of Steph, and in Optics she’s the ever optimistic Greta Goldman. Vic and Jenna created acclaimed content for Comedy Central, JUNKEE Media, the ABC, and SBS’s The Feed for which they won three AWGIE awards.
Their work has amassed over 90 million views online and has been featured in Elle, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar. Vic and Jenna are currently developing projects with Easy Tiger Productions, Kindling Pictures and See Saw Films.
Vic has toured nationally with The Chaser war in 2020, has appeared at Fringe and Comedy festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, and co-starred in sold-out shows at The Chaser’s Giant Dwarf Theatre. As a writer for screen and stage, Vic was the recipient of the ATYP Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission, for which Vic wrote the stage production CONVERTED The Musical, which premiered at the Sydney Festival.
As a director, Vic has directed two Screen Australia funded web-series: ME & HERPES and THE WAR. As a voice artist, Vic performed multiple character voices for the animated TV series 100% WOLF: BOOK OF HATH.
