Biography
Nikolaus joined ZDF Studios in January of 2024 as Director of Drama. He is responsible for sales, acquisitions and co-productions in the scripted space for Asia and Australia/New Zealand. His remit covers identifying and developing scripted projects at early stage for co-production and co-financing opportunities as well as initiating pre-sale conversations and sales of finished content into these markets.

TELEVISION

We are looking for projects from development to financing stage. Preferred to have an anchor broadcaster already attached but not a necessity. Stories do not need a German character or angle for it to be of interest for us.

We do not seek projects in the genre of pure comedy, period, or anything particularly in genre (sci-fi, horror etc).

Diversity is key for us no matter if it's in regard to storyline, talent in front and behind the camera etc.
