Ava Knight is Director of Acquisitions at global film and TV studio FIFTH SEASON. Under her remit, she seeks out and secures best-in-category unscripted and scripted content for FIFTH SEASON’s global TV distribution slate and finances projects at all stages of production. Ava is focused on identifying breakthrough content and forging value-creating partnerships with industry-leading creators, producers, and IP owners.

Prior to joining FIFTH SEASON, Ava was at BBC Studios, where she held roles in content strategy, determining which genres, talent, and IP to invest in, and acquisitions, where she managed the scripted distribution slate, including acclaimed titles such as Sherwood and Blue Lights. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ava began her career at Bell Media before moving to London in 2011 and has a decade of experience in acquisitions, co-productions, and strategy.
