Sam is a producer, writer and director. He recently co-produced on an Irish Sligo based feature film, You’ll Never Believe Who’s Dead, with Wild Card Distribution and Fine Point Films and has multiple shows in development with Screen Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen with his and Anna Mannion’s company, Tri Moon films, a uniquely regionaly based company in the North West of Ireland. He produced, Northern Lights, with Lionsgate for TG4 in Ireland and ZDF in Germany. Sam was the Drama Development Executive for Ireland’s national broadcaster, RTÉ where he was across their development and production slate and developed a broad range of projects for RTÉ1 and RTÉ2 while also working on shows such as Smother, Hidden Assets, North Sea Connection. He was the executive producer on RTÉ’s Storyland projects in partnership with Screen Ireland and the script producer on RTÉ’s, Fair City, where he directed multiple episodes for the show. He was the in-house story editor for the animation company, JAM Media. and has executive produced multiple short films. Before coming to Ireland in 2014, he worked in Australia, predominantly for Network 7 on, Home and Away, as a scriptwriter, script-editor, storyliner, director and actor.
