Kurt Royan is CEO and owner of The Post Lounge Group, which includes The Post Lounge, one of Australia’s leading independent post-production companies, and Orange Entertainment Co, the group’s production arm. With more than 20 years in film and television, he began as an editor before moving into leadership and acquiring The Post Lounge in 2019. He is also a partner and executive producer at VFX studio Resin, focused on aligning craft excellence with modern, reliable delivery in visual effects.

Kurt leads teams across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, driving expansion and pushing the business to meet the evolving demands of global production. Known for his “creative-first, tech-powered” ethos, he champions storytelling while keeping the businesses at the forefront of innovation.

Under his leadership, The Post Lounge Group has become a trusted partner for international studios and streamers, while also supporting local talent and bold Australian stories. Kurt’s credits include Elvis, Eden, and Better Man.
