Julia Redwood has been a producer and principal of Prospero Productions for nearly 30 years. She is also an multi award winning Director and Writer. In 1998 her directorial debut Paying for the Piper was nominated for two AFI awards and won the Golden Spire Award at the 2000 San Francisco Film Festival. Her role within Prospero spans a broad spectrum; in addition to keeping a keen eye on editorial content production she heads the research and development of new ideas and the financing of new projects. Julia is an active member of the Screen Producers Association (SPA), is on Screenwest’s Industry Advisory Group and Deputy Chair of Screen Voice - this coupled with her extensive creative talents and many years of experience in the marketplace makes Julia one of the leading figures in the Australian screen industry.
