Brendan is General Manager for EQ Media in Australia & New Zealand having joined them in October 2018. During that time he has Produced / Executive Produced a range of both Scripted and Unscripted Projects - ranging from Rebecca Gibney’s new drama Under the Vines to Unscripted projects such as the feature documentary on Shane Warne, Going Country (an Arts series for the ABC) directed by Kriv Stenders, Scott Pape’s Money Movement (for Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel) and true crime series After the Night (for Stan, Sky and Sundance).

Previously, Brendan was the Managing Director of Keo Films Australia. During his time Keo produced the award-winning hit documentary series War on Waste for the ABC, in addition to a broad range of factual and entertainment programs including River Cottage Australia (for SBS / Lifestyle Channel), Struggle Street (for SBS) and Bullied (for the ABC).

Before joining Keo, Brendan spent 7 years at the ABC, where he held a number of senior executive roles including the Head of Non-Scripted Production, Head of Network Programming and the ABC1 Channel Controller.

Brendan has almost 30 years’ experience in the Television industry including Director of Television at BBC Worldwide Australasia, plus roles at the BBC, ITV and UKTV and the Discovery Channel Europe.
