Gillian Moody, a Wodi Wodi woman, has worked in both management and production roles during her years in the screen industry. Gillian has worked in production roles at SBS and as an Investment and Development Manager in Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department.
In 2016 Gillian Series Produced the 6 x 30 min Documentary TV Series FAMILY RULES for NITV before spending a year working with Bunya Production through a producing internship in 2017/18 which saw her work across programs Mystery Road TV Series 1 and Blue Water Empire. A 2018 co-production saw a continued collaboration with Director Adrian Russell Wills with the production of the documentary BLACK DIVAZ, having premiered at the Sydney Queer Screen Mardi Gras Film Festival receiving the Audience Award for Best Documentary, before screening on NITV and SBS1. In 2019 Gillian produced the short film TIES THAT BIND with writer/director Michael Hudson which premiered at Sydney Film Festival and won the Event Cinema Award for Best Australian Short Screenplay. Gillian also Series Produced online sketch series NICE SHORTS in 2019.
Gillian's collaboration as producer with Adrian Russell Wills began with short film with ANGEL, followed by DANIEL'S 21ST. They continue to collaborate on feature documentary KINDRED and drama projects such as GINDERELLA.
