With an eye for genre, Brisbane based writer/director Josh Tanner has found great success with his short films on the festival circuit, including the 2013 Sci-Fi THE LANDING (winner of Best Short at Sitges 2013) and 2016's Screen Australia supported WANDERING SOUL (winner of Best Horror at Hollyshorts 2017). In 2018, Josh's short films THE RIZZLE for Fox Digital and Hulu and the Short of the Week selected REVERSE found success online both receiving development deals for feature adaptations in the US. In 2020 Josh was tapped to direct a feature film for Greg Silverman’s Stampede Ventures and Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment and was a proud recipient of Epic Games’ Unreal Engine Film Initiative via Screen Queensland, making the ambitious Sci-Fi Horror short DECOMMISSIONED. He is represented by United Talent Agency and Ziffren Brittenham in the US.
