Description
Love Me is the first Australian original series commissioned for BINGE and centres on the Mathieson family, Clara (Bojana Novakovic), Glen (Hugo Weaving), and Aaron (William Lodder), as they experience modern love at distinct times of their lives. Adapted from the Swedish series Älska mi, Love Me is a family drama about the excitement and fear of falling in love at any age while dealing with the unique complexities of grief and loss.
In this content showcase, BINGE Executive Director and Executive Producer Alison Hurbert-Burns sits down with Warner Bros Head of Scripted and Executive Producer Hamish Lewis, celebrated Australian director Emma Freeman, and cast member Will Lodder. They will cover a range of topics including the process behind developing the show, what drew BINGE to the series as their first Australian commission, and the longer-term commissioning strategy for the platform. The panel will also discuss the creative process involved, as well as the challenges of navigating complex human emotions through the direction of the series, and what it was like to play one of these deeply nuanced characters.
