Biography
Award-winning actress Marta Dusseldorp has worked extensively in theatre, film and television for over 30 years and is one of Australia’s most recognised actresses. Marta is the CEO of Archipelago Productions based in lutruwita/Tasmania. Archipelago's first premium drama was Bay Of Fires for ABCTV for which Marta was Producer, Co-Creator and lead actress.
Bay Of Fires has been nominated for Best Drama at the AACTA awards and SPA awards. It was the most watched show on ABC Iview for 2023 and has sold to multiple territories around the world.

Marta received the AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a TV Drama for ABC’s Janet King which she plays the title role and was also an Associate Producer. She starred in the popular series A Place to Call Home, Jack Irish, Stateless and The Twelve. Marta has been nominated for AACTA and TV Week Logie Awards in Lead Actress categories for her work.
Marta also has a wealth of experience on stage, being a member of Sydney Theatre Company’s Actor’s Company where she received a Helpmann Award for her role in Shakespeare’s War of the Roses and Gloria for the Griffin Theatre, winning the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Lead Actress, Archipelago Productions of The Bleeding Tree By Angus Cerini and Jean Genet’s The Maids.

Film credits include Paul Cox’s award-winning Innocence, John Curran’s Praise, Bruce Beresford’s Paradise Road, Ellie & Abbie directed by Monica Zanetti and the upcoming Australian film With or Without You directed by Kelly Shilling.
