Biography
Allan Clarke is a Muruwari and Gomeroi man from far western NSW. He is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, investigative journalist, writer, and producer. His work focuses on the intersection between the judicial system and the Aboriginal community, institutionalised racism, and unsolved Indigenous deaths. His six-year investigation into the unsolved death of Aboriginal teenager Mark Haines in 1988 saw the case reopened and Allan received a Walkley award for his reporting. Allan’s latest film, The Bowraville Murders, explores the murders of three Aboriginal children and the botched police response.
