The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), established in 1973 by a bipartisan act of Parliament, is Australia’s national screen and broadcast school. Working hand-in-hand with industry, AFTRS is a global centre of excellence that provides Australians with world-leading creative education and training so that Australian talent and culture may thrive at home and around the world. In 2023, AFTRS will celebrate its 50th anniversary and with initiatives such as the Digital Futures Summit and its new virtual production studio, AFTRS is taking a future-focused approach to national reach, excellence and sustainability. Designed for a new generation of screen leaders, AFTRS’ Master of Arts Screen: Business is Australia’s foremost screen business course. It will be offered part-time and full-time from 2022, with teaching in face-to-face or fully online formats, and with study patterns available to meet a variety of individual student needs and career choices.
