Biography
Joe Weatherstone is an Academy Award Nominated Producer. She was the series producer on the Logie nominated, half hour comedy series HOUSOS as well as SWIFT AND SHIFT COURIERS series 2 starring Amanda Keller and Ian Turpie the highly popular PIZZA Series 5. Joe produced the feature film KILLING GROUND which screened at Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and the feature
documentary THE GO-BETWEENS: RIGHT HERE directed by Kriv Stenders. Joe was the series
producer on HARDBALL for ABC me and currently works in development at Northern Pictures where she also produced AUSTIN.

Northern Pictures Scripted is genre agnostic when it comes to projects we seek to develop. As a rule we are drawn to projects we connect with, that ignite a spark we will champion for as long as it takes. As genuine partners in the collaborative process, who the creative team are is also a key factor in the projects we choose. With a number of projects already in development in the comedy and kids space, we are now specifically looking for high concept one hour projects.
