Margaret Tillson is a consultant and Producer/PM with over 18 years experience in screen production and creative business, having graduated in 2013 from the Australian Film Television and Radio School with a Master of Arts - Screen Arts and Business. She uses her production expertise to help creative businesses deliver high quality projects, and design healthy workplace cultures that nurture their people, projects and their bottom line. Margaret believes that healthy workplace cultures are a vital element of the Creative Industries and they begin with brave leadership. In early 2020, Margaret become an accredited Mental Health First Aider, before leading a live-streamed panel for the AFTRS featuring key industry leaders to discuss the importance of supporting the mental health of the film and television workforce in a COVID-safe production environment. Margaret’s experience working in business support services and the Australian screen sector, has given her a unique perspective on the daily challenges faced by companies striving to balance good people management, with creative and commercial concerns. In 2021 she joined forces with Ben Steel to establish Screen Well and together they are partnering with industry to deliver much needed support services, which help improve the way we work together.
