As General Manager of Business Affairs at TVNZ, Josh manages the negotiation and contracting of TVNZ’s locally commissioned programmes, as well as leading the team responsible for the company’s content acquisitions. Working closely with the local and international production and distribution sector, Josh also liaises with producers on behalf of TVNZ to find pathways for co-production.

Prior to his current role, Josh spent five years at Sky UK (formerly BSkyB) where he worked across a range of internal productions, predominantly for Sky Sports. On returning to New Zealand in 2018, Josh enjoyed a two-year stint in TVNZ’s Marketing team, managing a number of successful campaigns including for the award-winning Wellington Paranormal, Rugby World Cup 2019 and 1 News before moving to his current role in July 2020.

Josh has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication) from the University of Canterbury.
