Tracy Piippo is the Head of Licensing at IMDb TV. In this role, he oversees all 3P acquisitions for the free streaming service including library and licensed Original content. He has been with IMDb TV since launching the service in 2019 and has overseen the acquisition of popular series such as Chicago Fire, Mad Men and Schitt’s Creek as well as Original series Leverage: Redemption, Alex Rider and Troppo. Piippo leads a team of content acquisition professionals that continuously monitor the industry for the best available content to license for IMDb TV customers. Prior to taking on this role, Piippo was with Prime Video for 6 years, licensing television and film on a worldwide basis for Prime Video. There he led deals for Emmy-winning series Fleabag and Dino Dana as well as bringing The Expanse to Prime Video customers globally.
