Biography
Jake Riley-Hunte graduated from Kingston University with a first class honours Bachelors Degree in Film Studies before attending the National Film & Television School, obtaining a Masters Degree in producing. His highly acclaimed graduation film Sweet Maddie Stone, starring Jessica Barden, won the Grand Prix award at Encounters Film Festival in 2016 and enjoyed a successful festival run thereafter. Upon graduating, Jake joined Bankside Films in 2015 under Hilary Davis and Stephen Kelliher. During his five years there, Jake helped evaluate projects for acquisitions and licensed the Bankside Films slate to partners around the world.
What we're looking for from Ready, Steady, Pitch!
We’re looking for director and festival driven films across all genres, packaged scripts (director, cast) with some finance in place or fully financed ,as well as films in post production in need of finishing funds. On the documentary side we’re looking for theatrical docs which cover music, indigenous communities/perspectives, political and social landscapes, humanity and popular culture.
