Biography
Prior to setting up RubyRock, Zoë spent four years as founder and Creative Director at LittleRock Pictures. Whilst there she oversaw the development and production of shows such as Ch5 and Netflix’s hit series BORDERLINE and the International Emmy nominated Sky/Showtime original series URBAN MYTHS. BORDERLINE is currently being remade for the US by producer/writer/actor Nick Kroll’s (THE LEAGUE, BIG MOUTH) new production outfit Good at Business and Management 360 with Zoë EPing the project. Most recently, Zoë stepped in as creative EP on the forthcoming series from A+E Studios / Lifetime entitled FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC: THE ORIGIN based on the series of bestselling VC Andrews novels. Zoë also spent five years as COO of Stephen Fry’s company, Sprout Pictures, acting as executive producer on all of Sprout’s projects. Notable examples are the PLAYHOUSE PRESENTS series, starring Emma Thompson and Idris Elba. Whilst at Sprout, she was also instrumental in the development of the critically and commercially successful series MOONE BOY, which won an International Emmy. RubyRock’s slate includes HEARTLESS, written by Lucie Barât (SPOTLESS) and executive produced by her brother, co-frontman of The Libertines, Carl Barât which they are developing in conjunction with the BFI, MISS HARDY starring Leighton Meester, Kate Mulgrew and Kelsey Grammer and written by Caleb Ranson (co-creator of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS) as well as HER HORROR a female horror anthology series in development with AMC/Shudder which is due to shoot this year.
