Biography
Working out of the Global Content division, Atar Dekel oversees Keshet International’s (KI) diverse scripted slate with partners in all corners of the world, from Australia, Germany, France, Canada, and the US, to Belgium, Japan, the UAE, and Mexico.

Her latest projects include Rotem Shamir’s and Yuval Yefet’s eight-part crime thriller Diamonds, which is currently shooting in Antwerp’s diamond-dealing district in Belgium and is co-produced by De Mensen and KI for Netflix and VRT; the scuba-diving crime procedural Deep Crime Unit, co-developed by KI with Canada’s Facet4 Media for Japan’s TBS, which is currently premiering in Japan to record ratings; alongside Munich ‘72 and A Long Night in Paris, which are both at the co-development stage.

Before joining KI, Atar served as the Israeli Cultural Attaché in Los Angeles, covering all cultural exchanges between Israel and the Southwestern region of the US, specifically overseeing business opportunities within the Hollywood community. Previously, she headed the International Department at Kneller Artists Agency, Israel’s largest literary agency, representing some of the country’s most internationally renowned screenwriters, directors and authors.
