PARKING
A secure, undercover carpark is available to all delegates. Access to the carpark is via Hooker Boulevard / Nerang-Broadbeach Road or the Gold Coast Highway and T E Peters Drive.
Casual parking rates and a full breakdown of all parking tariffs are now outlined in the “Getting to The Star’ section of The Star’s website thestargoldcoast.com.au
A special discounted maximum daily rate of $20 per day has been reserved for delegates attending conferences and events at The Star Gold Coast. This daily rate will permit delegates to park for a 24-hour period from 6am to 6am on the following day.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
If you are wishing to use public transport you can still access the island via the closest bus stops located at Broadbeach North (outside of GCCEC), Pacific Fair, and Broadbeach South (across from Pacific Fair).
G:link will be operating as usual and stopping at Broadbeach North (across from GCCEC) and Broadbeach South (across from Pacific Fair).

CATCHING THE G:LINK
With trams every 7.5 minutes weekdays and 10 minutes on the weekend (between 7am and 7pm), getting to The Star Gold Coast has never been easier. The closest stop is Broadbeach North and from there, a very easy stroll to The Star.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Located in Broadbeach, the Event Centre is just half an hour from Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, and a 90-minute drive from Brisbane.
Coach services, limousines and buses provide transfers from Coolangatta and Brisbane Airports.
Accommodation & Flights
Show Group is the Official Travel Partner of SCREEN FOREVER 37.
Accommodation on the Gold Coast is limited during the week of conference and our allocation at
The Star is now exhausted.
Show Group are working with The Star to obtain further rooms should they become available and also have access to entertainment rates at other properties in close proximity.

Accessibility
The Event Centre is a fully accessible venue.
Accessible parking bays are located close to the carpark entrance lobby.
Accessible toilets are available throughout the venue.
SPA is providing Auslan interpreter services for all Plenary Sessions on day 1 and for the SPA Awards.
In an effort to make the conference more accessible, where possible we will be including captions on videos played in sessions this year. From next year, we are aiming for every video played at Screen Forever to include captions.
This year we have also introduced a low sensory, Quiet Zone for those who need to take a break from the high-energy environment.
