Biography
Kevin Krikst is an award-winning producer known for his work on critically acclaimed feature films and television series. Since joining Rhombus Media in 2007, he has collaborated with world-class filmmakers, including Denis Villeneuve, Park Chan-wook, Fernando Meirelles, Andrew Haigh, Patricia Rozema, and Guy Maddin.

Recent producing credits include Johnny Ma’s The Mother and the Bear (2024 Toronto International Film Festival), Atom Egoyan’s Seven Veils (2024 Berlin International Film Festival), Matt Johnson’s Blackberry (2023 Berlin International Film Festival, winner of 14 Canadian Screen Awards), Brandon Cronenberg’s Possessor (2020 Sundance Film Festival), and Albert Shin’s Disappearance at Clifton Hill (2019 Toronto International Film Festival).

For television, Kevin was Co-Executive Producer on HBO’s The Sympathizer (starring Hoa Xuande, Robert Downey Jr., and Sandra Oh) and AMC/BBC Two/CBC’s The North Water (starring Colin Farrell and Jack O’Connell). He also worked as Co-Producer on CBC’s Michael: Every Day and HBO Canada’s Sensitive Skin (starring Kim Cattrall).

In 2019, Kevin was the co-recipient of the Kevin Tierney Emerging Producer Award from the Canadian Media Producers Association.

Rhombus Media is a Toronto-based production company with over 45 years of experience, having produced around 200 films and TV projects, winning numerous Canadian Screen Awards, Primetime Emmys, and an Academy Award. Notable films include Thirty-Two Short Films About Glenn Gould, The Red Violin, Enemy, Possessor, and Hobo With A Shotgun. More recently, BlackBerry, directed by Matt Johnson, premiered in Competition at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival, also winning 14 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Motion Picture. Rhombus’ latest films, Seven Veils, directed by Atom Egoyan and starring Amanda Seyfried, premiered at both TIFF 2023 and as a Special Gala at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival, and Johnny Ma’s The Mother and the Bear premiered at TIFF 2024.

For TV, Rhombus produced HBO’s The Sympathizer, a co-production with A24 and Team Downey, from Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar, and BBC/AMC’s The North Water, starring Colin Farrell, from Andrew Haigh.
