Biography
Alex Baldwin is ABC Screen’s Head of Development and Commissioning and is responsible for overseeing the development, commissioning and production of all screen content across Scripted, Documentary & Specialist, Children’s and Family, Entertainment, Arts, Music and Events. Working closely with the ABC Director Screen, Alex provides editorial and commercial leadership and strategic oversight.
Prior to his current role, he has held the roles of Deputy Head of Screen and Head of Scripted Programming playing a key role in the development, financing and commissioning of award-winning series such as Family Next Door, Mystery Road, Total Control, The Newsreader, Redfern Now, Fisk, and Austin.
Starting his career in the UK he has over 25 years experience working on film, television and live international broadcast events.
