Melissa Lim leads the content acquisitions and co-productions team for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Kids networks in Asia Pacific, which include Discovery Kids, POGO, Cartoon Network and Boomerang. She also advises on licensing content to fuel the growing slate of kids and family programming on the regional streaming services HBO Max and discovery+ in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

She is based in Singapore and works closely with counterparts in the regional APAC original production and development team, as well as programming. Her key areas of focus are identifying co-production opportunities and securing Kids content for the region. For the latter, she also works with colleagues from other Warner Bros. Discovery acquisitions teams in the US, EMEA and LatAm.

Melissa’s previous roles include stints at MTV Asia and StarHub, where she spent 13 years gaining insight into the kids programming world. Before joining WBD, she managed co-production and acquisitions at Disney for its Southeast Asia channels and regional streaming service.
