Biography
Renee is an award-winning producer of film and television screen content.
She started her career in the early 2000s in scripted production departments of feature films and tele-movies. She then had the opportunity to manage and produce several historical dramatic documentaries including the Logie winning ABC film, ‘Constructing Australia: The Bridge’.
Before founding Metamorflix, Renee oversaw a diverse range of dramatic documentaries, factual series and documentaries in her roles as supervisor of production and producer at Beyond Productions, supervisor of production and producer at ScreenWorld and as a producer and line producer at Essential Media and Entertainment and Becker Entertainment.
Renee loves stories and she has produced screen content across a vast array of genres including children’s, family, science, history, observational documentary, historical fiction and much more. And she’s produced and managed screen content for leading media brands such as ABC, SBS / NITV, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, CBC, NOVA / PBS, ARTE, Abacus Media Rights, ABC Commercial, ICON Film Distribution and others.
Renee is currently financing The Golden Age, a feature film adaption of Joan London’s acclaimed book of the same name, with Tristram Miall. The screenplay, written by Sue Smith and Cathryn Stickland, will be directed by Elissa Down.
