Samantha Allwinton is the Chief Operating Officer of Head Gear Films, a UK-based independent film financier known for its producer-led approach. With over 12 years of experience in the film industry, she has built a strong reputation for combining commercial insight with a deep understanding of the independent film financing process.

As COO, Samantha plays a central role in overseeing the company’s operations, strategy, and financing activity, working closely with filmmakers and partners to support projects through to release. She has been involved in the financing of a number of successful and critically recognised films, including A24 hit TALK TO ME, HOW TO HAVE SEX, and the Academy Award-nominated THE APPRENTICE starring Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong.
