Tina McLaren is a seasoned screen industry practitioner with more than 25 years of experience shaping drama, documentary, and reality storytelling in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Her career has taken her through some of the country’s most influential screen organisations, including TVNZ, Screentime NZ, and Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ. At TVNZ, Tina helped define the Sunday Theatre era and championed early digital innovation with the Emmy winning Reservoir Hill.
She later led production at Screentime NZ and went on to commission scripted content for Warner Bros. Discovery backing projects like the award winning Madam, Friends Like Her and Happiness.
Tina now brings her experience and instinct for strong storytelling to Sky New Zealand, where she oversees commissioning and the scripted slate across the Sky portfolio. Tina’s focus is supporting creators to tell distinctive, compelling New Zealand stories that resonate with audiences across Aotearoa/New Zealand and the World.
