Reviewed as a “Premier Australian filmmaker” by Asia Week Magazine, and “one of the most convincing success of new wave Australian filmmakers” by French Cahier du Cinema, Pauline Chan is a multi-awarded Director/Producer/Writer.

Sydney-based, Pauline’s work has exhibited worldwide to commercial success and critical acclaims at prestigious festivals including Cannes, Beijing, and Berlin. She has successfully pioneered the historical first and second Australia-China Official Treaty Co-production features - Dragon Pearl 2011, starring Sam Neil; and 33 Postcards 2012, starring Guy Pearce. Both films opened to 2000 screens in China and 33 Postcards went on to win multiple international major awards including Best Film (2), Best Director (2), Best Actor (4) and Best actress (3). The film was selected by New York Times for ‘Critics Pick Review’ during its US nationwide theatrical release.
