Dan Edwards is a senior television executive with two decades of industry experience. In 2016 Dan joined forces with his father John Edwards and Roadshow Films to form Roadshow Rough Diamond. In 2018, he co-created and produced Australian Gangster and Romper Stomper, which broke viewing records for Australian SVOD service Stan, winning two Logie awards, and one AACTA Award. In 2019, produced Les Norton, for the ABC, then in 2020, produced Bump, breaking all previous viewing records for Stan.

Prior to launching Roadshow Rough Diamond, he was Vice President (ANZ/Japan) at ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Also in the Asian market, Dan spearheaded the 2009 set up
of Endemol Worldwide Distribution’s office in Hong Kong following the merger with Southern Star where Dan was a Sales Director for seven years across Canada, Middle East, Africa,
Greece and Asia. Roadshow Rough Diamond’s shows have been acquired internationally by CW, Starz in the United States, BBC2 in the UK, HBO Max in Latin America, CBC in Canada and AMC
Networks across Pan Central Europe; to name just a few.
