Bump is heading into production on a third season after achieving huge success on Stan. The family friendly, comedy-drama starring Claudia Karvan, co-created and written by Kelsey Munro, premiered in January 2021. Set in an inner-west Sydney high school, its take on the complications surrounding what happens when a baby comes into the mix for two families and their high school children, has proved immensely relatable for Stan audiences across Australia. 

In this content showcase, Stan Head of Scripted, Amanda Duthie sits down with the show’s creators and stars, Claudia Karvan and Kelsey Munro, along with producer, Roadshow Rough Diamond’s Dan Edwards, to discuss how the show was conceived (no pun intended), what drew Roadshow and Stan to the series, how the creators have built out the world with such vividness and clarity, what the process is like for creators to build these characters and embody them, and what we can expect for the third season - any more surprises?
