Kaye Weeks is the Producer at Windmill Pictures, a company created to develop screen works from Windmill Theatre Company’s live theatre repertoire. She is currently producing the company’s first television series, Beep and Mort - a new show commissioned by ABC Kids, supported by Screen Australia, SAFC and distributed by ABC Commercial. Windmill’s first feature film was Girl Asleep (co-produced with Soft Tread).

Kaye is also the Executive Director of Windmill Theatre Company where she has produced and premiered several Australian theatre works and toured them nationally and internationally. Some recent highlights include Creation Creation (premiered in 2021 and tours to the Sydney Opera House, Arts Centre Melbourne and Awesome Festival Perth in 2022), Beep (Australia, China, US and Canada) and Rumpelstiltskin (Southbank Centre, London). Kaye is also a producer of the live stage adaptation of Bluey (in collaboration with Andrew Kay and BBC Live) that has toured extensively throughout Australia and begins an extensive US tour in late 2022.

Kaye has over 20 years’ experience in the live performing arts industry and holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications and a Bachelor of Education (Arts). Previous roles have included Director of Marketing and Communications for the Adelaide Festival of Arts and Marketing and Public Relations Manager for State Theatre Company of South Australia.
