The Kates stared out with an idea in 2017, a murder mystery that would flip the script on the tropes of the genre. For the first couple of years the folder was titled Funny Broadchurch, but soon evolved into Deadloch, a comedy mystery that became the biggest series to ever be shot in Tasmania and one of Amazon Prime Videos’ first Australian Original commissions. This a chance to meet the creators, grab a sneak peak, and talk everything from CGI seals to smouldering pubes.
