Eve Gabereau is the founder and CEO of Modern Films, a London-based production, distribution and digital exhibition company. Launched in 2017 with the Event Cinema release of MANIFESTO starring Cate Blanchett and Executive Production on the Welsh-Zambian I AM NOT A WITCH, they now represent a library of over 100 films. Their focus is on auteur driven stories, strong female voices in cinema and social impact partnerships. They would like to meet with similar indie companies either working across production and distribution, or in co-production with Europe and/or East Asia. The project that they are presenting at UK Connect is a book adaptation that is structured as a UK-Australian-Japanese co-pro, that could also include one more country - ie France. Beyond this project, she would like to meet with Australian producers around their upcoming projects that might be of interest to them for collaboration in production and/or UK/Eire distribution. NB: Each meeting is 15 minutes and can be used as an opportunity to pitch a project, or to introduce yourself/your slate or company.
