SCRIPTED TELEVISION
Scripted drama and comedy remain key audience drivers for ABC iview, and we are committed to producing premium, original Australian stories for a broad audience.
We are seeking crime dramas with a distinctive hook—whether gripping thrillers (Bay of Fires), mysteries (Savage River), or the cosier side of crime (Return to Paradise). We also look for character-driven dramas exploring human complexity (The Newsreader, Total Control, Plum) and high-stakes, culturally resonant narratives (The Slap, After the Party).
Comedy is central to ABC’s identity, and we seek series that are returnable (Fisk, Utopia), boundary-pushing, or full of heart (Please Like Me, In Limbo). We also remain committed to landmark true Australian stories (Fires, Stateless).
We welcome partnerships that deliver bold, distinctive stories that engage audiences and define Australian storytelling.
