SCRIPTED TV
TVNZ is interested in co-productions that authentically illuminate Aotearoa New Zealand with the opportunity to also showcase the culture of the production partner. We have had recent success with The Gone, an Irish / NZ co-pro with collaboration built into its DNA; from the Irish / NZ writing team, through to production HOD’s and onscreen talent. Productions that film in NZ or use NZ services may be eligible for the Screen Production rebate (SPR) and we welcome any scripted pitches that may fit this remit.

TVNZ’s core viewer objective is to materially grow younger audiences (18-34) while maintaining a broader commercial audience (18-54), by prioritising making and buying content that attracts and retains these more commercially-attractive audiences.
