Biography
Felicity Packard is an award-winning screenwriter, story producer and producer.
Over a career spanning almost three decades, Felicity has written, story produced and produced over a hundred hours of television drama. Career highlights include writing and producing the two seasons of the rural noir drama series Scrublands, and Scrublands: Silver and co-creating, writing and producing the Netflix political/spy miniseries Pine Gap. She was story producer on The Twelve S2 for Warner Brothers Australia, and NCIS: Sydney S3 for Paramount +. She was lead writer and producer on the ABC’s award winning ANZAC Girls, and adapted, wrote and associate produced Stan’s first original drama commission, Wolf Creek S1. She is one of the creator-writers of the commercially and critically successful Nine Network Underbelly true-crime drama franchise: Underbelly; Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities; Underbelly: The Golden Mile; Underbelly: Razor; Underbelly: Badness, and Underbelly: Squizzy, associate producing the last four.
Felicity has won multiple awards for her screenwriting, including the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award (screenwriting) for episode 7 of Underbelly, Wise Monkeys. She has won five Australian Writers’ Guild Awards for Underbelly, Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities, Underbelly: Badness and ANZAC Girls as well as being nominated on several other occasions. Other projects she has written for include Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries, Janet King, MDA, GP, Sea Patrol, Blue Heelers and Home & Away.
