Biography
Mark S. Miller, P.G.A. is a veteran of almost 40 years in the animation and visual effects industry, having worked on several critically acclaimed and award-winning productions.

Getting his start in 1984 as an ILM production assistant on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Miller spent the next 22 years working his way up through the ranks of ILM production on such features as Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Ghostbusters II, and The Hunt for Red October. He rose to Visual Effects Producer on The Doors and his VFX Producer credits include: Jurassic Park, Jumanji, Sleepy Hollow, Mighty Joe Young, Contact and Jurassic Park III. Miller was also an associate producer on Mars Attacks!. In 2001, he served as Executive Producer of Visual Effects on A.I. Artificial Intelligence, continuing in that role for Planet of the Apes, Minority Report, Dreamcatcher, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Mission: Impossible III. In addition, Miller acted as Visual Effects Executive Producer or VP of production on several films from the Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean series.

In 2006, Miller became president of Digital Domain, where for three years he helmed the visual effects for films such as Academy Award-winner The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, as well as the first three Transformers movies. After a stint producing stop-motion animation with Henry Selick, Miller returned to Lucasfilm as producer on Strange Magic. He currently serves as VP, Creative Development & Production for ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s immersive storytelling studio, working on their portfolio of premium experiences like Avengers: Damage Control, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge.
