Weir is an industry leader in selling rights, securing thousands of rights deals during her 24 years at PRH Australia. A veteran of more than 50 book fairs, including Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Taipei and Guadalajara, Weir has represented international rights for major Australian and New Zealand authors, including Benjamin Stevenson, Kyle Perry, Tara June Winch, Rachel Givney, Tracey Cox, Fiona McIntosh, Witi Ihimaera, Dame Fiona Kidman, John Flanagan, Jacqueline Harvey and Morris Gleitzman.
