After a year's hiatus, the popular Publishers Pitch is back. It is the perfect opportunity for producers eager to hear from publishers, agents, and authors as they showcase their bestselling stories, published books and advanced copies of manuscripts.  

The Publishers Pitch will see that the tables are turned as producers are the ones being pitched to and will be a must for producer delegates who have a passion for adapting stories from page to screen or those on the hunt for the next big piece of Australian intellectual property. 

In the live event, five leading publishers and agents and two award-winning authors, will pitch a piece of IP to an audience of delegates and an esteemed panel of producers.  

There is a fine art to taking a book to a feature film or small screen series. Our panel has mastered this fine art. Representing companies that have had great success in book adaptations, our panellists will provide valuable feedback on each of the pitches, benefiting not only the publishers but also the session audience.
