Screen Producers Australia (SPA) has today confirmed the initial line-up of host companies participating in SPA Connect at SCREEN FOREVER 40, showcasing an outstanding lineup of Australian and international buyers and Australian production companies. The program features a diverse mix of distributors, commissioners, sales agents, and production businesses, including Madman Entertainment, Protagonist Pictures, Channel 4, About Premium Content, CBS Studios, Easy Tiger Productions, Foxtel, and BINGE reflecting the global reach and influence of SCREEN FOREVER.
SPA Connect delivers curated, application-based opportunities for producers to engage directly with decision-makers through Matched Market Meetings, alongside the Production Partnerships Forum, supporting collaboration, deal-making and long-term business growth.
SPA CEO Matthew Deaner, said: “The strength and diversity of organisations participating in SPA Connect speaks to the relevance of SCREEN FOREVER on the global stage. This is a rare opportunity to connect directly with companies shaping the screen landscape and to build relationships that can open doors well beyond the conference.”
The Global Matched Market Meetings connect Australian producers with international buyers at the Online Global Market running 21-22 April 2026 ahead of the main conference. International distributors taking part include About Premium Content, CBS Studios, Fremantle International, BBC Studios, Sphere Abacus, Cineflix Rights and TVF International, alongside international TV commissioners from RTÉ, Virgin Media Television, PBS Kids, Acorn TV and Channel 4. Delivered on Queensland’s Gold Coast during SCREEN FOREVER 40 on 28-30 April 2026, the In-Person Matched Market Meetings provide face-to-face access to Australia’s leading feature film distributors and television commissioners. Feature film distributors participating include Madman Entertainment, Odin’s Eye Entertainment, Roadshow Films, Kismet Movies, Pinnacle Films, Maslow Entertainment, StudioCanal ANZ, Australia Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF) and Sharmill Films alongside television commissioners from Foxtel, BINGE, ABC, SBS, Stan, Nine, 10 and Paramount+.

Companies participating include Easy Tiger Productions, 57 Films, Bus Stop Films, Fury Film Co, Ludo Studio, Photoplay Films, WildBear Entertainment, Fremantle Australia, Dreamchaser and Haven’t You Done Well Productions, giving early career producers access to mentorship, insights, and opportunities for strategic collaboration.
