Today Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is pleased to announce that Minister for the Arts, Hon Tony Burke MP will be joining the annual celebration of achievements in the Australian screen industry at the 21st Annual SPA Awards, taking place on the Gold Coast on Friday, 05 May 2023, the final day of SCREEN FOREVER 37.
Minister Burke will join screen industry professionals from across Australia and the globe at the ceremony that will recognise the best of content produced by SPA members and champion the outstanding screen productions of Australia’s world-class production businesses.
With the release of Australia’s new National Cultural Policy, Revive earlier this year, the Australian Government’s commitment and support of home-grown creative industries has been warmly welcomed.
The prestigious SPA Awards are an annual opportunity for industry peers to gather to honour the accomplishments of some of Australia’s most prolific production companies and individuals, showcasing their skill, imagination, and innovative thinking of the sector.
