Biography
Emma Fitzsimons has been working in the film and television industry for 20 years as an executive producer and lawyer. She is Managing Director at Princess Pictures and Princess Bento Animation Studio and works across the entire slate. She has executive produced the animated series Koala Man for Hulu, landmark unscripted series My Year 12 Life and My Year 7 Life as well as a number of scripted projects including Yolo Crystal Fantasy, The Divorce, Superwog S1 & S2, How to Stay Married S1, S2 & S3 and the Emmy Award nominated Wrong Kind of Black. Having previously worked for UK broadcaster Channel 4, global production company ITV/Granada and children’s TV production and distribution specialists, the ACTF, Emma is experienced in all aspects of content development and financing.

Having recently celebrated their 20th year of operation, Princess Pictures are one of Australia’s most prolific, diverse and enduring TV and film production companies. They have been behind several of Australia’s most successful comedy series exports including SUPERWOG (ABC/Netflix) and Chris Lilley’s SUMMER HEIGHTS HIGH.Their primetime drama series LAST DAYS OF THE SPACE AGE launches globally later this year on Disney+, and their live action kids series PLANET LULIN launched on the ABC on New Years Day.
